November 11th, 2011 at 8PM Denis Limonov – a member of the literature-gang "Lipovy Tsvet" (double meaning having term: Spurious Color or Lime Blossom) arranged an unscheduled action-experiment "Turmoil” in the bus No. 23 in Mogilev (Belarus). The name for the action was chosen later on the basis of the reaction by the bus passengers. This action could be considered as socio-political actionism. Passengers in the bus became hostages of the situation. They were forced to listen to a kind of revelation by some no longer able to keep quiet a slightly drunk man who decided to take a desperate step - to declare publicly evidence of continual violations of people’s rights and so to express his own civic position. But in this case he used language of slogans and pathos. Passengers do not understand what was happening. Their defensive reaction, based on fear and it’s masking by any kind of "normality", "honesty", "adequacy" made it impossible to take the situation seriously. Thus, Limonov immediately fell into an image of the "urban idiot" and likely attitude was dictated by the cliché. The reactions of some passengers (like a girl-doll grown-up by MTV and MuzTV kind of channels, or working class looking man - that needs a separate article to be written.
Soon after the placing the video on youtube it evoked strong public reaction in blogosphere and strengthened the desire of some people to confine members of “Lipovy Tsvet” into a mental hospital. This event (in a concert with soon afterwards to appear Denis Limonov’s acknowledgement in his presence in terrorist act in metro station Octyabrskaya so to stop execution of death sentence to Konovalov and Kovalev) as a handle for Belarusian police to start investigation against members of the group. At the moment they are hiding from the police aggression.

On December 12th, 2011 DAMTP in a concert with DEWOU-DAMTP invited for synchronized public eating & burning of bourgeois cultural propaganda so to commemorate first crusade's committing to cannibalism after the burning of Ma'arrat al-Numan and also for Nazi Lebensborn Project.
The action in Alytus was based on eating, devouring, munching & burning activities and further developed into hypergraphical/situgraphical experiment.

Группа "Липовый цвет" в рамках Global Art Project провела акцию солидарности с нефтянниками г. Жанаозен (Казахстан), а также семьями погибших и пострадавших. Акция прошла 19.12.2011 около ст. м. "Площадь Победы" в районе 22.00 по Минскому времени. Символическая дата 19 декабря имеет прямое отношение к событиям 2010 года на пл. Независимости, когда режим Лукашенко в который раз показал истинное свое лицо, разгоняя и избивая мирных граждан. Сегодня в Казахстане "цепные псы" Назарбаева убивают рабочих нефтянников. Мы призываем всех небезразличных граждан, всевозможные институции и сообщества объединять свои усилия в протесте и сопротивлении. Диктаторские режимы во всем мире не имеют права на своё существование ценою жизни граждан.
In the framework of Global Art Project art group "Lipovy Tsvet" held a rally of solidarity with oilers of Zhanaozen (Kazakhstan) and with families killed and injured. The rally was held 19.12.2011 near subway station "Victory Square "in the 22:00 of Minsk time. Symbolic event 19 December is directly related to the events of 2010 on the Square of Independence, when the Lukashenko regime once again demonstrated his true face, chasing and beating up innocent civilians. Now "dogs" of Nazarbayev is killing oilers in Kazakhstan . We encourage all citizens, who are not indifferent to this problem, and also various institutions and communities to join forces in protest and resistance. Dictatorial regimes around the world have no right to existence at the expense of living its citizens.

12/16/2011. Today more than 3,000 people gathered for a rally in the town square in the center of Zhanaozen (Kazakhstan). Police attacked the protesters, protesters burned the police "UAZ", in response in the city entered the army. Killed over 20 people.
BERLIN BIENNALE IS A DIFFICULT EXERCISE IN ACQUIRING POWER – IT’S LIKE CINEMA ON THE WAY TO POLITICS: ARTUR ŻMIJEWSKI IN CONVERSATION WITH POLARIS

DAMTP warning: the article contains sophisticated features of fascist reasoning. BB curator positions himself in the place were aesthetics (glorification-humiliation), politics, (inter)nationalism(s) and corporationalism meets. BB goes further to declare artists beeing a true nation of aryans. Unjustly it tends to happen in Berlin once again. This is evident also in the upcoming 2012 Berlin Biennale’s mixture of art and politics that is incapable of dealing with the racism of the current system there and its Nazi legacy (in fact only tries to preserve this cultural heritage) – which is evident in its total silence on issues such as the anti travel laws against refugees and indeed the extra judicial killings of Africans such as Oury Jalloh in Germany itself – all of which the Berlin Biennale is silent about. DAMTP have therefore decided to boycott the Berlin Biennale and is asking for solidarity.
Both the 7th Berlin Biennial and London Olympics 2012 start the very next year. POLARIS, partner organization of both initiatives, attempts to peep into these two historically significant events and their implications through Cultural, Ideological and Real Estate perspectives. Foregoing is a conversation between POLARIS Ltd and curator of the Berlin Biennale 7 Artur Żmijewski. It touches expectations in the political career of a curator and his opinions on art, gaining power, German history etc.
POLARIS: You’re the kind of artist who monitors other artists and the art scene in general. You publish interviews with culture producers, you’re the artistic director of the periodical Krytyka Polityczna, and you have been appointed the curator of the 7th Berlin Biennale. What are your guiding principles?
Artur Żmijewski: I’ve always been more interested in the social or political dimension of art and the impact of artistic work. I’ve asked myself whether the language of art is capable of getting people religiously or politically aroused. Artists are just as capable of setting in motion the same chain of events as politicians. How do you exert influence on people’s actions?
POLARIS: What does “career” mean to you?
AŻ: Career means improving yourself professionally. You move forward, acquire knowledge and skills. Some artists possess skills that are truly astounding. There’s the greatness of art and there’s poverty in society.

The end of capitalism is presaged by the collapse of all the previous forms of domination and so will depend on the liberation of the land as well as capital. Therefore we must begin our proletarianism with taking and regaining control of land as well as capital. Even so, the reclamation of the land all over the world, by Indigenous and Traditional groups, by Peasants, Farmers, Travelers, Gypsies as well as Working Class groups can only become revolutionary in this age if they are accompanied with the reclamation and control of capital – machinery and tools INCLUDING PSYCHIC, INTELECTUAL OR HUMAN CAPITAL – by Labour. That’s why the only way that the struggles for the land, at Dale Farm in the UK or by the AMP in Pakistan or indeed the Occupy protests, can only be won when the police, army and private security workers along with the resources and tools they use – including the psychic cops of the services industries, come under the command of workers groups linked internationaly.
This is why the recent bombings at Shiah and Sufi shrines in Afghanistan follow similar targets in Pakistan last year require a response and condemnation worldwide. As part of the diaspora of the Former British Empire, we feel that we must respond. It is irelevent whether these attacks have been orchestrated by the Taliban or other groups or indeed by NATO linked security or secret service groups of the USA or UK. Neither can any of these organisations be revolutionary or proletarian. The same goes for all left wing groups – who constitute the left wing of capital – who in the UK are calling for NATO troops to be withdrawn from Afghanistan or the right wing who support colonial and imperialist war – we recognise the need for the fascists both Islamic and Christian or indeed pagan and other fascists to be fought by any means necessary.

Sie sprechen von Kunst und Politik, aber wir wollen diese Kategorien zu zerstören! Die Arbeiterklasse schon immer von Kunst und Politik ausgeschlossen worden! Wir sollten noch weiter gehen und sie angreifen! МАРИНА НАПРУШКИНА И ЕЁ "УБЕДИТЕЛЬНАЯ ПОБЕДА"

Помните, мы привозили вам комикс такой в виде газеты, про выборы в Беларуси. "Убедительная победа" называется. Так вот этот комикс – дело рук Марины Напрушкиной. Я тогда не знал, что он ей принадлежит, и, признаться, не знал ничего толком о самой Напрушкиной, кроме имени. И вот узнал. Теперь, зная о том, что Напрушкина живет в Берлине уже давно и состряпала этот комикс там. Что она всю свою культурную и художественную деятельность (она связана с критикой политического режима в Беларуси) ведет также из Берлина. Зная о том, что ее выставки проходят во множестве галерей буржуазного толка, я сожалею, что привез этот комикс на 4-е алитусское биеналле. Сам по себе комикс хорош, но исходя из контекста его производства и трансляции - выходит совершенно лицемерная ситуация. Если этот комикс еще не уничтожен, то мне бы хотелось, чтобы он прекратил свое существование в вашем пространстве.
The presentation of DAMTP papers and proletarian positions of psychic workers took place in Prager Kabarett, Prague on November 15th, 2011.
Very symptomatic was the conjuncture of DAMTP presentation with the presentation of Czech-American artist Woody Vasulka, who confessed there being uncomfortable when named as artist and prefered identifying as a film worker – that was nice to hear from established avant-gardist, but hardly trustable in the context of the occasion – his talk was arranged as a special meeting with public due to his some honourship received at FAMU (Film Academy of Prague).
Next turn for the evening was pending on me. Even before my talk I did a mistake inviting people who came for the first meeting also to stay for DAMTP presentation and simply naming being bourgeois those who are not willing to talk on reproletarianization of the art sphere. My psychic apologies to all people then being here – I think the fact that there were some people directly involved into official events by some academic rituals couldn’t be an excuse to abuse all. In the result not many people left for the next talk. Those details gave impact on my nervousness in the beginning of the DAMTP presentation. But there were incredibly well intentioned people around - they were willing to discuss on the critical topics analyzing contemporary situation in the psychic working conditions. The collective attempts balanced the situation and eventually turned up into an intense discussion.
I found myself quite uncomfortable to start talking on behalf of the DAMTP. When I write “we” I mean usually what I think when trying to look at myself from aside – i.e. when I talk on some imagined community I would like to be part of. The same way is how I treat the organization of the art strike biennials. But the problem is that I do not want to talk on behalf of some very concrete people involved into those concrete events. I started from “I” in that talk because in advance I was presented personally with my name and people came to listen to me as concrete person.
The event was planned as DAMTP propaganda exhibition at DADAPOST, Berlin on October 15th - November 13th, 2011. It was directly addressed towards the artists to doubt their duty being artist and directing them towards becoming self aware psychic proletarians. The show consisted of two separated parts – one was traditionally formed by an artist/curator, who selected Berlin based artists. Another one was arranged by three [exhibition]workers – the space was filled up with DAMTP prints, post-produced or re-adapted propaganda papers – and some trans-inverted posters. Unfortunatelly it still looked very aesthetic. While the first part of the show held on the individuality and supposedly equal attention to each item – the DAMTP space provided a clear contrast of being in collectively in-divide-duality of spinning situlogy and therefore challenging to stop "making sense".

On the June 30th strike we joined with the Dead Workers Union to attack the Freemasonic Lodge in London and expand the union action beyond the limits of the freemasonic structure of the union movement.
On October 19, 2011, Vitaly Kalgin sent to mental asylum in Gaytyunishki (Belarus). The doctors promised to send a preliminary report to his wife, but did not. When arriving to visit her husband, she got to know the fact.
She expects a decision on one of the items she submitted to the Minsk City Court supervisory review: to suspend the resolution of the case by supervising the execution. The independent counsel laid out a 10 pages list of procedural violations in the case of Kalgin. [So far we know – the court suspended the resolution for the period of supervision of the case and Bismarck got release to wait for the final decision at home, but it did not happen smooth…]
The Belarusian avant-garde artist Bismarck was convicted by Belarusian court and sentenced to 5 years of compulsory psychiatric treatment.
OPEN ADDRESS TO THE CURATORS OF BERLIN BIENNIAL 2012 DUE TO COMMISSIONING ALYTUS BIENNIAL AND DAMTP

So far you sent the brief of the Berlin Biennial and negotiated for the meeting and then find no time to talk on DAMTP issues while beeing in Lithuania nor in Berlin – it seemed as kind of gesture of your wish to collaborate or to “commission” me, or biennial, or DAMTP or whomsoever, but I have an opinion on the attitudes you’re presenting and now it’s not me who is waiting for your offer, but there is rather my proposition to yours.
The positions of BB you’re declaring are very elitist and therefore remaining fully bourgeois in the essence. Your wish to somehow to strain the occupations movement to the establishment concept is deplorable. The essence of occupations is to strike the system’s functioning and to sabotage the authority – yours claims are the opposite – instead for striking the system you’re about to strengthen it with “positive“ content (as you are about to decide) – have you ever saw or hear any capitalist, or totalitarian or any authoritative system not to claim about it’s “positive” shift? The first thing you are doing – if you still not able to acknowledge – is to alienate the artists one from each other (the main trick of all high bourgeois culture) and at the same time to show your authority towards them. To compare – nowadays occupations happen in an extremely horizontal way – no leaders, no individualities any more – they are 99% against 1% - and there I am openly to accuse you in collaboration with the system. You are claiming for the refusal from the artistic projects, but at the same time collecting, valuating and commissioning them. You are calling for the art to be politically responsible, but instead creating one more political decoration therefore fully corrupting artists on their proletarian way to get to collective consciousness…and throwing them into a competition instead. There I must to repeat once again: alienated capitalist politics starts with alienated bourgeois culture and no “shift” is possible while only manipulating with separated parts. We must crawl for totality of art & politics not just that done by the celebrated and privileged ones.
POST DAMTP ANNOUNCEMENT: ON DALE FARM AND OCCUPATION MOVEMENTS

Today the activists and residents have been removed by riot police and bailiffs at Dale Farm – the largest travellers site in Europe. This year has seen mass deportations and arrests of travellers across Europe and it is no surprise that the 10 year dispute over Dale Farm was to be resolved by the use of illegal weapons by the police yesterday on the first day of the attack. While the fight over the last 2 days was futile we feel the activists and of course the travellers themselves who have resisted their eviction and oppression by the state have made a heroic stand for workers everywhere.
At the same time, Occupation protests continue across Europe, USA and Australia. These began at the weekend in solidarity to the Tahrir Square occupation and Spanish camps earlier this year as well as the ongoing Wall Street occupation – and we welcome this. However it is useful to identify some of the differences between these two protests: One is the organisation and solidarity shown to a section of the underclass with a very specific aim – to defend people’s homes at the site of those homes. The other is a protest by an ambiguous and “anonymous” “99%” done at the site of power, but with no specific or declared aims. The responses by the state have been heavier against the underclass, despite both the Travellers and the Occupations both having no consensus on the use of NVDA. Another difference is the amount of media coverage given to Dale Farm – which has been international and in the form of live video and written reports in newspapers and websites – and that given to the occupations, which has been very minimal, if not nothing at all.
